Privacy
NearHear is currently a small, invite-only friends-and-family test. This page describes what the product stores today, plainly — it is not a substitute for a full legal privacy policy, which will come before any public launch.
What we store
- Your account identity: the email address you signed in with.
- Your selected alert area: the city/ZIP centroid and radius you chose, never your precise live GPS location.
- Your private performer watchlist: who you have asked NearHear to watch for.
- Event matches NearHear has found for you, and the state of any email alerts we have sent about them.
What we don't do
- We never request or store your precise live GPS location.
- We never sell your data.
- We never share your watchlist or location with other users.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account and all of the data above at any time from your account settings.
